I have no idea how our Ethiopia Media Mission was 2 months ago… Where the heck did the time go?
7 teammates came joined me and Nick in Addis Ababa for 9 unforgettable days. We all came in as strangers, (minus the interviews over Skype I held individually leading up to the trip) and left connected in inexpressible ways.
We laughed, cried, learned a lot, stayed up way to late… we experienced healing and watched walls crumble down around some of the deepest insecurities that people didn’t even know they had. We came together and championed community over competition and empowered one another to be the best versions our self possible.
We taught about ethical orphan care and orphanage alternatives and challenged our team to advocate for the amazing organization, Selamta Family Project!
This is a post dedicated to our team, a thank you for trusting us, for giving your time and talents to love and serve a holistic organization!
