Texas 48 Hour Adoption

The Walls + Dominique’s Adoption : U.S.A.

I want to tell you a story. A story of brave people choosing to walk down an unknown path for the sake of another human being’s life. Two women, each a mother in their own right, entered a hospital, one carrying a babe in her womb, the other carrying a babe in her heart.
These women are forever knit together by this brave love.
In many U.S. states the law requires a certain amount of hours to pass before a birth mother can legally place her birth child for adoption. We spent the legal 48 hours that Texas requires between hospital rooms interviewing and documenting a wonderful birth mother and 2 selfless adoptive parents. This story is real and raw and our desire is to break down the preconceived ideas around placing a child for adoption and adoption in general.
Adoption is hard. It is not natural, but in it’s own unique way adoption is one of the most beautiful forms of love I have ever encountered, for all parties involved.

Please view the entire story in our video at the top of the page. You will be forever changed, I promise.[vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”3″ gap=”30″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1614987193019-a596fef3-074b-2″ include=”8051,9689,8127,9602,9848,9709,9690,9672,9644,9526,9460,9402,9380,9345,9731,9312,9285,9251,9228,9132,9036,8983,8857,8850,8836,8778,8748,8658,8653,8648,8499,8487,8411,8337,8271,8226,8212,8207,8113,8075,8069,8052,7873,7835,7730,8010,8029,7951,7940,7875,7867,7717,7634,7478,9968,9934,9918,9765,8739″ css=”.vc_custom_1614987712046{margin-top: 45px !important;}”]
